Industrial Engineering Major Texas Tech?

Should i major in industrial engineering even though i struggle in math and physics. I find the subject very interesting, but i usually get C’s or B’s in those subjects and sometimes even flat out bomb test if i haven’t payed attention to anything or did any homework.

personally i love weapons and the physics behind them and i would love to work to help develop and design weapons. i have my 2 year degree now and im going to get my bachelors degree starting as a junior.

i heard with my interest in weapon technology i would do good in the armed services but what are some advantages of joining with a 4 year degree and what can the military do for me

My priorities are (in order):
1. Financial security
2. More than 35,000 a year
3. Interesting Job
4. Room for growth in organization
I would say that IE is more interesting but it would take me two more semesters to finish it.
I am able to. I just have to take Calculus 1-3 and physics 1 and 2 courses.

I hate computer work i don’t like to do programing or any kind of job related to this
can i be an Electrical Engineer?
I like physics and calculus so much

Choosing what type of engineer to be?

I’m really good in math and physics, and am interested in becoming an engineer. So far I have been interested in industrial, biomedical, civil, biomedical and architecture.

I’m very open minded so I want to pick one in high demand and preferably do something like my dad. He majored in industrial engineering at an ok school and got his bachelor’s. Then he was offered a job, where they payed for his master’s at Washington U in St. Louis which is very good school and very expensive.

what is the best major for him? math or physics. i’m into medicine so i don’t really know. being that he is going to a 2 yr college first what will he be required of. i’m in a 4 yr college so i don’t know how they do their things in a 2 yr college.

I have a BS in Mathematics and a minor in Chemistry..I was wondering how tough graduate industrial engineering classes are? I’ve taken some fairly tough math and science classes (calc 1-3, diff eq, basic stat, geometry, set theory and logic, abstract algebra 1-2, linear algebra, real analysis, chem principles 1-2, organic chem 1-2, biochem, physics 1-2, basic computer programming) Will this prepare me enough for graduate industrial engineering classes? My sat is combined verbal and math sat is 1240 (620 math). I know this is vague, but does it sound like I am smart enough to handle industrial engineering? I don’t know a lot about it…any input would be helpful! Thank-you
I took calc based physics 1 & 2

Can you please say like calculus, physics, and so on. thanks :)
i tried finding it but couldn’t :(

I’m currently in high school and am really passionate about chemistry, math and physics. I’m considering joining chemical engineering. Is it easy to find a job after I graduate with a master in chemical engineering? Especially when I’m an Asian female? Not many Asian females study chemical engineering and I’m worried about the career prospects. Thanks!

What can I do to be a civil engineer?

I have a really huge problem and I need some help!

I want to be a civil engineer in the future but you’ll need physics and math, right? But the problem is, I only have math! My school doesn’t give out the subject physics.

So what do I do? Change my dreams or stick with it?

P.S: Here in where I live, you can no longer change school’s once your a senior…it sucks :(
