I am going to a chemical engineer in Sept. 2009, and regarding the possibility of getting job in any multinational company in countries other than Pakistan, I am very much curious about the condition of jobs for chemical engineers and also about their earnings especially in the oil and gas, or the fertilizers manufacturing sector. Any chemical engineers working in the US or europe or mid-east, kindly DO HELP ME OUT..!

What does an electrical engineer do?

Would i like the job?
Do you like your job?
What do you do in particular?
thanks!

My priorities are (in order):
1. Financial security
2. More than 35,000 a year
3. Interesting Job
4. Room for growth in organization
I would say that IE is more interesting but it would take me two more semesters to finish it.
I am able to. I just have to take Calculus 1-3 and physics 1 and 2 courses.

I planed to take this course.
but I have difficulties in finding what kind of job after graduating and how can I make bussiness after i been certified as chemical engineer.

I hate computer work i don’t like to do programing or any kind of job related to this

Pros/cons of being an electrical engineer?

I am in college right now, and having a tough time deciding a career, (especially because Im looking for something recession proof). I just wanted some input from electrical engineers how they feel about their choice. I can get a bachelors in the field in two years and get a well paying job right out of school, and it sounds like a pretty good choice, but Im just not sure.
Any comments or recommendations will be appreciated.
Thanks.
