How is a career in chemical engineering?

I am 16 and still in high school and am considering being an engineer specifically a chemical engineer, I want to know if it is a good career and what classes you must be good at and how vigorous the course will be if I take it when I go to university THANKS

i wnt to knw whether it contains mathematics or not.if yes then which topics(lpp, differentiation etc..).is it management type field.if yes then why its an engineering field.

i am comparing the chemical engineering program with biomed./biotech. program and i would like to know the difference. and the difference also between master degree in chemical engineer and master degree of science in chemical engineer. your answer will be appreciated. please don’t answer if you are guessing as i am really serious and looking for the correct answert
i am a chemistry major and biology minor, but the gpa is way low (low of the 2.0))do you think what is the possibility to get accepted in master program?

can you double major in International business and Industrial engineering?

"Best" can mean many things to many people. When I say it I mean it in such a way that the company has already achieved a large amount of success, possibly even in the Fortune 500.

To me, the best companies are ones like P&G and Unilever that leave a lot of experiences for a chemical engineer to rotate in and out of during their time there.

[This is for a standard chemical engineering degree (i.e. no food science background, biomolecular, etc.)]

i’m a little confused with the course i’ll take in college. my options are industrial engineering, nursing, architecture, tourism. what do you think is the best?

Gift for workaholic chemical engineer father in law?

My father in law is about 56. His birthday is coming up this weekend. He spent many 80 hours a week working hard to provide for his family. What do most men in their middle ages want or need for their birthday, preferably something they wouldn’t think of to get for themselves? Or what’s a cool gift for a nerd? :)

Industrial Engineering and Social Science?

I am about to complete a BA (psychology, philosophy, criminology), and would like to move to engineering. Naturally, industrial engineering seems to be the most related, but I’m also interested in Mech/Aero Engineering. Any advice? Would companies hiring an engineer even care if the candidate had a BA (or hons or masters of philosophy)?

I want to be a Chemical Engineer!?

What type of jobs do Chemical Engineer majors end up in?
What type of things do we do in those classes, or focus on?
What’s the difference between Chemistry major and Chemical Engineer major?

What schools are best to look at for Chemical Engineering (especially if they’re easier to get into than they should be)?

Any and all information is appreciated!
