I am considering going into industrial engineering. I like the idea of coming up with creative solutions to problems. I also like the fact that it seems very people oriented. There seem to be many different places to work and many different types of projects to work on. Is this an accurate picture of what an industrial engineer does? Do people resent industrial engineers for correcting them, or telling them how to do things better? Is it easy to find a job as an industrial engineer? Is it an enjoyable job? What types of opportunities are out there?
Thank-you so much for your input!

How difficult is it to find employment in Mexico and what field is best remunerated? I’m an American citizen, hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil-Structural Engineering from U of I, have ten years of experience, speak Spanish fluently, have traveled abroad extensively and now seeks to find employment in Mexico.

Hey guys! I’m 19 and I’m planning to go to a community college to take on Computer Software Engineering and I was wondering if there are any notable university’s that I should consider transferring to. I live in Vegas and I was really looking at any of the University’s in California (love it there!) or Washington since Microsoft HQ is there and it might be easier to get an internship *shrug*.
If anyone has any experience in this or anything, I’d love to know what your thought’s are! Thanks a ton to everyone who responds!
